SUPPLY LIFE-SUSTAINING RESOURCES

Few of us will ever wonder where our next meal is coming from, or whether we will have access to clean water. For millions across the world in refugee camps and remote villages, this is their everyday reality.

  • 75.9 million people worldwide have been forced to flee their homes due to violent conflict in the Middle East.
  • 844 million people globally lack basic drinking water access.
  • Annually, 3.4 million people, mostly children, die from water-related diseases, and 9 million people of hunger-related diseases.

By definition, “life-sustaining” means to help someone or something stay alive. To BLESS, this includes supplying access to resources like clean water, food and shelter, counseling, job training, and access to hope and eternal life through the word of God.

With your support, BLESS and its partners can work to meet this need and provide life-sustaining, sustainable resources to those in need.

Supply Life-Sustaining Resources

ELIC

The youth population throughout the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region will surge by about 10 million between 2015 and 2030, placing immense pressure on existing educational institutions. Your generosity will help Elic to:

Equip Rural Teachers to Succeed in their Classrooms

Our Teacher Training Program will equip these teachers to teach more effectively, with confidence, and improved English. This training will create a multiplying effect through the hundreds of students each teacher instructs.

Bring Hope to Rural Students through Quality Education

A good education equips students with critical thinking, creativity, and lifelong improved opportunities. As education improves, social problems such as violent behavior, poverty, and extremism are reduced, leading to a peaceful, resilient, and hopeful future for all.

Make the Most of Every Opportunity

Teachers committed to excellent teaching build genuine, intentional relationships. Through professionalism, cultural sensitivity, and sincere friendships, they earn the right to share truth and hope.

Wantakian Bible Translation

Thanks to you, at the beginning of June, a group of Wantakians heard the Gospel for the first time!

In 2018, BLESS partners provided funding for the translation of the four Gospels in the first-time ever written heart-language of the Wantakian people in Papua New Guinea.

Now it’s time to provide eternal sustainability by providing the rest of the New Testament.

  • Purchase equipment needed to complete the New Testament Translation
  • Enable literacy training, Bible teaching and, discipleship
  • Print and distribute waterproof Bibles that withstand the harsh jungle environment

EMPOWER ONE
Project Satisfy

The Satisfy project is rooted in the goodness of God, revealed in meeting the physical needs of the world’s most desperate.

When the paralyzed man's friends lowered him through the roof into the presence of Jesus, He did not only heal his physical condition. He met his spiritual needs as well.

By drilling wells, providing irrigation and ovens, Empower One's "SATISFY" provides refugees with sustainability for the physical. By planting a church next to each well, local Christian leaders can provide the Hope of living water also.
