PRAYER REQUESTS

—For the hearts of the Fulani people, as we have been able to reach out to thousands of them recently with BLESS support. So many of them are open to Jesus, but afraid of the persecution that they will go through. Many of them lose everything and some of them end up losing their lives.

—For one of the Fulani convert leaders named Haro. Recently some of his own tribe mates kidnapped him and took him into the wilderness and threatened his life if you would not convert back to Islam. He would not deny Jesus and they beat him terribly. One of our doctors is currently treating his wounds. When I met with him a few days ago, he said; now more than ever he is committed to getting Jesus to all of his people, no matter what they might do to him!

—For many Nigerian church leaders that are angry and bitter toward the Fulani, as they have been relentlessly attacking Christian villages and churches. We have been able to develop a strategic Fulani training with BLESS support and have now been able to go through that with 500 key Christian leaders. Dozens of these leaders have been convicted about their attitudes toward the Fulani and many of them are repenting and are currently planning programs to reach out to them.

—For the main tribe of the Boko Haram terrorist organization that we have in Nigeria and other neighboring countries. The Kanuri are doing atrocities because they do not have Jesus. We have been working with key leaders from their tribe to reach them.

—For God to send workers to reach out to the Fulani and Kanuri, that their eyes will be open to their need for Jesus and that they will stop the killings.

—That God will comfort the victims of these attacks and provide for their many needs. Especially among so many new widows and orphans, whose husbands were recently killed.
